Who else is verging on OCD with their money saving??

Thought this might be a fun one....

Do you fondle your £2 coins.... (you know who you are?)

obsessively check your bank balances?

Find it hard to let go of the coins you are handing over to your children as pocket money?

Update your spreadsheet, even if it changes by 1p???
Add your verging on OCD money saving tendencies to this thread...

(no offence meant to anyone, just a bit of fun)

;)

    I fondle....

    [sob] I FOOOONNNDLLLEEEE!!!!!!

It's true. My name is Obi, and I love my £2 coins. A bit too much. Got one today, and I put off buying the nail glue for my wedding day falsies as it would mean spending it....

Yup, I'm pretty bad - got upset today when I found you can get £2.50 cashback for signing up to moveme.co.uk when I already signed up for the freebie box. OH is sick of hearing out Pigsback, and the slow payouts. My spreadsheets are NASA grade. I squeeze my loo-rolls. I am a DFW nerd.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Noooooooooooo! I signed up for the freebie box and didn't know about that too - grrrrr. And it got delivered early and the previous occupiers had removed the teabags and biscuits (although I have forgiven them as they did leave me a case of beer when they moved out)

  • When I buy ingredients for making indian, thai or chinese foods I wander endlessly between the ethnic, tins and cook in sauce sections of the supermarket muttering to myself and doing my sums to see what will be cheapest. I can spend a good half an hour doing this and have nearly worked myself into meltdown before with all the mental arithmetic. I also go to the loo as much as possible at work and charge my mobiles at work to save on my leccy. I get annoyed if I have to charge them at home.

Well first thing every morning I check the bank online and update spreadsheet and if even 10p out I will print of bank statment and go over and over it until I find it ..............I have been like this since starting DWD in May 2005 and even though now debt free still do it.

I was on holiday a few weeks ago and bank blocked my online banking because I logged on from abroad as a " security measure".........I almost had a breakdown and wanted to come home lol
