Good value platinum wedding rings

Options
I am hoping you fab MSEers could point me in the right direction of jewellers that provide good value platinum wedding rings. :D I would love a platinum band with a few brilliant cut diamonds dotted in it but cannot afford to pay £1000 or more.

So any tips or advice would be greatly appreciatted! Thanks :o

Congratulations! How many years is that?

Sorry I don't know about a good jeweller for you but if Platinum is 60 yrs or more do you know you can get a congratulations message from the Queen. I think you have to apply to DSS or probably CAB would advise you where to get information.

    Have a great day.
  • Hi and congratulations
i got my platinum and diamond ring from ebay, it is 3mm wide with princess cut diamonds scattered around the ring, it cost me £385 and hubbys was a plain platinum 5mm flat court for around £410.
they can sell the rings cheaper than the highstreet as they have less overheads.
if you want the names of the sellers let me know

would definately recommend and they are very reasonable too.

It all works out good in the end.

  • We bought my engagement ring from Hatton Garden so thought we go back to get our wedding rings. The best prices we were quoted was £540 for mine (2.5mm platinum court) and £240 for boyfriend's (5mm titanium). After a quick look at the Blackberry on the prices on the Internet we decided to leave it and research it properly online.

We ordered rings and paid £279.99 for mine and £31.00 for my boyfriend! We're chuffed to bits as they're identical and cost a lot less. I cannot recommend these two companies highly enough:-

Maybe work out exactly what you want then look online. Both of these companies offer a refund/exchange service. I exchanged my ring (from Bands of Love) as it wasn't quite the right shape and they turned it around really quickly, no questions asked.

    Happy ring shopping!

We also got our bands from the beautiful company and are thrilled with them. I have a platinum engagement ring and we were on a budget so we got palladium wedding bands. No diamonds but both under £100 each and they are identical and mine sits very well with my engagement ring.

    Good luck:)

  • Hi - We've just bought our wedding rings from a jeweller in Milton Keynes centre. Trawled around all the jewellers so we got an idea of quality and price - ended up in a shop called Phelans and can't recommend them enough. A real jeweller with more mock-up rings than I've seen anywhere else. We chose the shape and size to match my engagement ring in platinum and the price was decided on the weight. My OH decided on palladian which looks exactly the same - (as long as I've got the real thing!!!). Just over £500 for the 2 rings and we are delighted.

Try this company www.bayrings.co.uk we used them in the past very cheap compared to other sites.
