Republic of Ireland Pension Transfer

I have an occupational pension in the republic of ireland from a previous employment. I would like to transfer this to the UK ideally to a SIPP. I have contacted Hargreaves Landsddowne, Sippdealextra, James HAy and none of them are able to accept a transfer in from Ireland. I have been told that the scheme in Ireland is QROPS recognised. Can anyone advise me on a personal pension provider who will accept transfers from Ireland?

Thanks in advance

  • Hi.

I don't know about Personal Pensions but I have done transfers from the Republic of Ireland into occupational DC schemes. So they definitely are possible.

    Thanks

I have worked for 5 years as a Pension Administrator and then a further year in a non-administrator pension role. I am not (and never have been) an adviser. Do not take anything I say as advice, it is information given on the best of my knowledge.
