Today I get home to find a card through my door.
I jump with excitement! Its been ages since I have won anything! Its silver, and as I look closely......I have to pay £1.06 to get it! £1 of that is the handling fee for unpaid items! so 6p short!
It requires a signiture, but im sure when you send something by recorded delivery it got weighed???
Any one got any ideas what it could be? Anyone else had this?

Does the card say that it's for a letter? if it does, it could be a cinema ticket0

Is it your Birthday? My friend sent me a Birthday card with one of those adhesive stamps and it came off somewhere along the line and I ended up paying for the stamp, the card being put through my door and a handling fee totaling - you've guessed it - £1.06.
Hope this is not the case and it's a letter telling you you've won something! Keep us informed!LBM 1st May 2012 £53,839

I had one of these cards last week, it said it was a letter and I had to pay £1.06. It turned out to be a birthday card for my daughter which was "supposedly" too big to be classed as a normal letterbox size!! When I collected it the postman who handed it over actually checked the size with one of those size chart things and told me there was nothing to pay as it should have been delivered in the first place!!!
Hopefully yours is a win of some sort!! Keep us "posted"
