Up the Creek,no paddle in sight.

Recently I posted about debts of £13k and having to remortgage to pay them off, I have been accepted for the loanand just waiting for completion, but the constant stress of not having mone to pay the creditors is actually getting to me, due to me having to change jobs recently things have been gettng on top of me, I feel totally useless to my family and having to scrape through from week to week makes me feel !!!!. I am going on holiday next week and only have enough money to last me until middle of July. Even though I will be able to pay off my debt I will still be in debt for next 10 years to pay of remortgage. I am so angry with myself for getting myself in this mess, never again will I take out credit from now on I will save for things and if i dont need it wont buy it, today feels like my LBM.

Don't be too hard on yourself, today is just the start and you have a long way to go.

Right, niceties over - time to get things in order. You need a decent budget and a plan for meeting the repayments. Do one for July (which sounds like it will be a struggle) and one for the rest of the time. You also need to work out how you will get through July, perhaps a spot of flogging on Ebay to raise some extra funds to see you through.

You could start a spending diary to keep a check on what you are spending too, being confronted with your purchases again in the future both makes you question before you spend and also allows you to see the small stuff that you buy each day/week that you can cut out.

All the best for your new debt reducing future.

Great start already, have you also checked out the money saving old style board to see how you can get your day to day costs down?? They can make meals and, well, anything really out of pretty much thin air. They also do this thing where you can tell them what is in your cupboards and they will help you to plan meals for the week. I am completely in awe of them as you might be able to tell - lol.
