Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't see half the competition id numbers on the page (eg the ones korky posted on 8/8) Am i missing the bleeding obvious?

I don't understand - do you mean you can't see them on mse?

I've just worked out the puzzle (I cannot see the picture posted by hjb123 for some reason) and I make it a 4.

Oops, sorry you are right, I was looking at row 6 column 6.
