    Hi Lindsey

    Welcome to the board

Why not tell us a bit about your situation. The easiest way to do this is to put together a SOA (statement of affairs), this will give us a pretty good picture of your situation and will help us to give you the best advice. There is a sticky at the top of the board for newbies and there is also a link up there to a SOA calculator. The SOA will help us to give the best possible advice, especially if you explain anything that looks a bit odd (eg if you rent and your rent includes bills then explain that or we will all ask where your electricity bill is etc etc)

Hi Lyndsey - Just wanted to second what numpty said - the help you will get on here really is great and even if you dont post very often (like me  ) just reading peoples diaries can be inspirational. If you can do a SOA (the newbies guide explains) the real experts will come along and show you how to cut down on everything! You have truly found a great place - good luck:beer:

if you go to the link that I post in a second, you can fill out your SOA online and then copy (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+v) into a new post on this thread.

One second and I will link to the sticky for newbies and also to the SOA calculator.

Sorry Lindsey, it is probably me talking in jargon. if you put all of your incomings and expenditures into the form on the SOA calculator link I posted above then you can highlight all the text and copy and paste it into a post on this thread. Alternativelt, here is a template for an SOA that doesn't involve going to that site, you can put it into a post of your own by hitting the quote button below this post, then you will see all of this post already in your new post and all you have to do is pop your figures in.

SOA template (shamelessly ripped off of the one posted to above):
