Great Big Massive Hugs to YOU ALL

:grouphug: I dont get the time to post on here very often but just felt I wanted to thank you all for inspiring me to pay for both my children's school holidays this year without resorting to credit cards

Because of you all and the advice on this site I have managed to save enough money to do this without resorting to borrowing or using a credit card :T .. instead I have used quidco, worked overtime, cut back on food shopping, ebayed my butt off and hey presto - 2 children for one week each happy and able to go and do something they really wanted to and all paid for! I know this isnt exactly paying off debt and yes the money could have gone towards paying it off  - but at the same time I havent added to it, still managed to maintain my own 'pay off my debt plan' and I know that would not have been the case a year ago.

SO THANK YOU ALL - YOU ARE ALL TRULY INSPIRATIONAL :happyhear

Well done you a brilliant achievement :T

It's a great feeling paying for something with hard earned cash isn't it rather than resorting to the evil plastic.

It really does give you a buzz and it would have been so easy to resort to the evil plastic - I think credit cards just make you feel like you have sorted something quicker and its out of the way so to speak but it really is better doing it the long way! Thanks x
