chat room moderators

Options
Hi there, does any body know about the pros and cons of becoming a chat room moderator that works from home. My local job centre was advertising at about £6 an hour but do not know what the job entails/requires, etc;

It seems like a brilliant way to make money from home - or is it?

All views or experiences, or links to other threads (I couldn't find any) greatly appreciated.

    I think it is for a bingo CM, yes. Is that good? or bad?

    Was hoping it would be an evening job - is training hard? anything you can tell me would be great.
  • it is definately not bad, its a nice job, but very hard, baring in mind ive not started properly yet, ive done a week of training waiting for the site to open, but you have to be able to organise yourself and multi task, you need to be comfortable with excel as you have to complete a shift report and email it to a manager when you finish your shift.

    it certainly isnt just about chatting to people, you have to do that and play games, keep track of the game, winners, do your report, welcome all roomies that enter and answer their questions, then you have msn on which you have your colleagues on it, they will ping in for a chat with you, or your manager etc etc, so the time flies by! really does, but despite all of this i think im going to love it!
