Sounds like the one my OH has got. Don't ever switch off the base unit if it's the same one. I did, and had the fone ringing at 3 in the morning for a week. Nightmare!

I think it is the same one, apparently the design of the scanner is 20 years old and they're looking into changing the design. Are the company any good? They don't seem to give many points for the work involved. The gift catalogue has some good things but cost loads of points. I accidently switched it on earlier and then it started making an alarm sound and the message on the scanner said replace handset on base. I haven't even started scanning my shopping yet.

Did those of you that are doing Shop and Scan have to be asked to do it or can you sign up yourself? I am a member of TNS and have not been asked to join butit sounds fun!

Has anyone been sent their Blue Peter pen yet either as I am still waiting?

The scanner I'm talking about in the post above came from a different company called Factfinders.
The shop and scan was by invitation only, I received the invite because I'm registered with http://www.selectyourmail.com/index.htm
It might be worth registering and make sure you select shopping and internet etc. as of your interests.
