finally got an address for index as posted before - now have finally got an answer to my letter - they have sent an address as to where to return the chainsaw and if it is found to be faulty i will get a full refund and postage back - bit wary though - more than likely then will turn round and say it isnt faulty hence i dont get money back and lose the postage - and, cos i have to cover the postage and it is such a large heavy object - anyone know how much this will be? not made of money!! but, getting somewhere slowly

is there a way to get them to pay the postage?

only by asking them if they have a freepost address or asking if you can send it cod but it's unlikely they will do that................however as you say they will refund postage too if it is faulty

have there been other threads on this as I haven't seen them as yet ,to get the full background picture

as you will see it has been a long hard slog - just wondering how much it will cost to return the chainsaw - they are so heavy.....
