Hi all
I have got a lovely cream sofa - stupidest thing I ever bought! I have to wash the covers once a month practically because I am always spilling things on it! Usually everything comes out in the wash; but I've recently spilt liquid foundation on it. This is what I've tried so far to clean it;
- scrubbing with fairy liquid
- scrubbing with hand soap
- stardrops diluted
- stardrops neat and left on for ages
- stardrops neat scrubbed into the stain until my arm hurt!!
- washing it with normal washing powder
- washing it with washing powder + white vinegar + stardrops
but the stain won't come out
I am probably going to end up buying new sofa covers; but before I do - does anyone have any other ideas???
Thanks
Lottie

I reckon you've probably tried everything and the stain is set now, but you could get a quote from a professional cleaner, to see if dry-cleaning might bring it out.
Good luckSome people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

I was going to suggest makeup remover, ACE or vanish as well but I agree that it may well be set now
