Baines & Ernst DMP

Hi All

I have just found these forums and now realise how bad B&E are. I am after a couple of bits of advice.
I have been on a DMP for 3 years and my debt is not getting any smaller! (it is but not at the rate Id like to see it reduce!

I want to start paying my debts quicker and dont really know where to start. I am surviving on what I am paying B&E now and could maybe afford a little more but how do I take it all back off them and am I liable to any contractual terms with them?

Also I have been looking on my credit file online and two of my debts are not on there, a tesco loan and goldfish credit card. where have they gone.

Any help is much appreciated
Thanks
Clare

There are three different credit agencies so maybe they are on another companies.

Have you thought about contacting Payplan or the CCCS they will take people on who are with fee paying companies and then you should start seeing some headway into your debts.

Also you can do your own (I do), the national debtline website has a budget sheet and even template letters.

Normally you can just finish with a fee paying company, but seek advice from one of the mentioned above first.

Callcredit and Experian are the other two I believe Experian is the biggest of the companies.

You can just stop paying B & E and work out another DMP with CCCS etc however you will lose your first months payment B & E use as a deposit but weigh that loss against the management fee you pay every month...
