Anyone ever had their o/d cancelled by RBS??
Probably a totally hypothetical question but has the RBS ever cancelled anyone's overdraft?? If so did they just remove it with no warning or did you get a letter stateing they would??
Logged in to check my online banking to find out cash availible in both my accounts is zero. we have OD's on them both just worrying that they have decided to withdraw our OD with no notice :eek:
Is that likley??

::UPDATE::
DD eventually went down for a nap so i've had a chance to contact the bank.
There has apparently been a system error affecting a small number of customers who used RBS online service yesterday to activate their debit cards. The system has removed all overdrafts. RBS are working to fix this and it should be completed by the end of the banking day. Apparently any bank charges anyone affected by this banking error will be refunded by RBS.
I can now breath a bit easier at least. Thank god we have enough essentials in and don't need to actually buy anything today because if we did we would be a bit stuck and using the recently cleared Credit card.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000

Me too Doodledo. Think its made the lightbulb shine ever brighter tho because if they had called in the OD we would of been seriously stuck. Both mine and OH wages are due in on friday and where as the more than cover the OD so bring us into credit the don't cover the OD plus mortgage/ctax etc that leave via DD on the 1st July.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000
