Tennis Rackets?

Thinking of taking up tennis (using the local private court), what rackets are best to start off with? One for an adult and one for a 6/7 yr old?
Any suggestions (Hopefully at a good price too!)?

you dont need to spend alot of money , i took tennis up last year, i bought a dunlop racket for £15 from soccer world, some of the players spend hundreds of pounds and their rackets dont seem much differant. Its a top game, i only wish i had done it ten years ago, join a club and get proper coaching, i now play in a league, last year i couldn't even serve

I know places like JJB are normally complete rip-offs but if they have any tennis stock left they normally sell it cheap come this time of the year. Usually 1/2 price or less.0
