i am after a 1gb usb drive which is password locked, any ideas pls?

I need to carry around a lot of presentations and want a 1gb usb removable drive. Was thinking of Lexar secure but is a bit expensive. However, it is password locked.

Anyone any recommendations they can give me ls?

Happy to buy off ebay if there is anything there you can recommend

Many flash drives come with software to create encrypted partitions where you can store private data. These partitions are locked/unlocked with the use of a password. Is this the type of protection that you're after?

I know the Corsair Flash Voyager drives come with this software, I'm sure many others do too.

not fussed either is good with partitions or without. I am more concerned with reliability and then price.

Yes, I have a 512MB Corsair and can highly recommend it. It's a little more expensive than budget brands, but it is very reliable both in terms of data retention and physical build. It's waterproof and encased in rubber to absorb shock from falls, etc.

Security-wise, it is extremely secure. If you forget the password to the encrypted partition it is impossible to recover the data, you cannot even delete the secure partition without the password, you have to send it back to Corsair to remove it! It also has a 10 year guarantee.

It's also one of the fastest drives around in terms of read and write speeds.
