i have had one for two years now and have used it a lot!! It cooks really quickly, pizzas chips and best of all sausages, as if you place them on the rack all the oil drips from them. Now it has all of a sudden stopped working, the light does not come on and it no longer heats up! The fan still works though! Anyone have any ideas if this could be fixed, or not worth it?
karen 4444 its looks like the bulb has broke.
What make is it ? Just put into Google the make and spare bulb and see what comes up as not all halogen ovens bulbs can be replaced .
I bought a Halogen oven from Robert Dyas just over a 1year ago and it has a 2 year guarantee. In the year i am on the 3rd one because bulb has blown and yesterday the bulb blown again ! so when i get back to the shop that will be the 4th oven i would have had !
For cooking Chicken and roast potatoes it is excellent but any stews,shepherds pie, lasagne oh and piza its useless as just cooks the top so i might just get my money back on it.
I have a Halogen Oven and its brilliant. Lucky I had it as the element blew on my fan oven. Still have'nt replaced the cooker as I now cook everything in the halogen. Would'nt be without it now or my slow cooker. Just need to get myself a table top induction hob and I'll beable to get rid of the full sized cooker completely.
