Panasonic 37" Plasma TV

Hello Everyone, I'm planning on buying a 37" Panasonic Plasma TV TH37PV500 with cabinet, from Currys.co.uk. Up until last week, it was selling for £2000 but the price has just increased to £2215. I've just applied for an EGG credit card (so that I can get 5% off the purchase price), but I was wondering if anybody knew of either any promotional codes or retailers selling the same TV for around the £2000. I have been looking to get John Lewis to do a price match, but am having difficulty finding a store that is cheap, has it on display, and has a ticket with the price on sitting next to it.

I know Martin's feelings on extended warranties - £400 from Domestic & General for this price (under £2k) hence am trying to get a free warranty from JL with a decreased price.

I'm looking for one myself, but am still looking to get the deal that I want. If I find anywhere, I'll post it.

The hunt continues after this weekend coming - any help gratefully received.

I'm looking for the 42" pv500 and am having trouble finding someone to price match John lewis with to0, I only need the pv500b with no stand as I have bought a 3rd party stand of my choosing.

Will also let you know if I see it anywhere for you.
