A word to the wise - don't do 6 mile yomps in crocs:eek: I walked to Regent Street on Thursday from Kennington just to visit HSBC, then I mooched about and decided to get the bus back from Trafalgar Square - I waited for 10 mins but no bus so I walked to the next stop and waited there for another 10 mins still no bus (they are supposed to run every 5-7 minutes:mad: ) so I gave up and walked back to the flat and ripped my poor little feet to shreds:rolleyes:

One of my chums was attacked by a troll on this forum last week and I am doing my best to persuade her to come back - hopefully, she will because she needs the support of people on here.

    Hi Horace,
    Welcome home, :j

a little MSE moment....at the camp we went to they had a "shared meal" where everyone brought something to eat and the camp gathering would have a mixed feast....

that was the idea...anyway....after we'd done our bit with baked spuds and nibbles, it became apparent that more food was required - the scenes at the tables would have been justified if there had been no food for the whole week...it really was unpleasant..

So... Mrs Bismarck put together a lovely spaghetti bolognese in a pan to ensure that those who had waited patiently and not pushed/shoved/trampled in the mob were rewarded with fresh, un-mauled food....

However, by the time we placed this surprise extra meal on the table, the "starving" ones had discovered that they were not that hungry after all and were actually sated and their eyes were indeed bigger than their stomachs....so, riot averted, we now had a pan of spag bol
and no takers and were due to go home the next day with no space in the fridge...no freezer....what would you do?

I'll give you the answer later on this evening.....
