Extra 10% off at Debenhams - Anytime - For anyone!!!

Hi,

Was in Debenhams today buying a few bits and pieces and as usual was offered to sign up to the Debenhams card.

I already have one. The girl asked me if I had used it in a while and informed me that if I didnt use it within the past 3-6 months I could sign up for a new one and so get the 10% discount for new card holders!!!

She said this was standard practice but just to confirm I asked the manager (thought she was just looking for commission) but it was confirmed that if you havent used your card within the past 3-6 months GE capital (the card issuers) treat your account as inactive and closed until you use your card again.

So got the card holders extra sale discount and the 10% off for signing up to a new card!

Whats the worst that can happen if they find out? Not give you the 10% discount. Well worth a try in my books!

Peter
