Hello Q....hope you are well Hun. Reminds me I must catch up on the Arms gossip:D0

Hi Angie
Had a huge leak from my bathroom ceiling which has affected the lighting, but today plumber and electrician did a good job.
But: my phone handset has broken down (old anyway), both my lappies are playing up (also old), my DAB HiFi reception has conked out, and the postal strike is affecting my work.
Oh well. Nothing that can't be sorted.
How's things with you?Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Good heavens Q....I saw your plumbing problems on fb:eek::eek: sounds like its all happening at once Hun!...think you need a couple of days off!
I`m Ok I think....just recovering from an horrendous bout of flu...knocked me for 6 for over a week & still exhausted!
Hope you get laptop & phone fixed...bet you`re wondering what next!!

Yeah the leak has been fixed now so that's out of the way. I have to replace the phone and I was toying with the idea of getting a new lappy anyway so I will next week.
Oh I know a few peeps who've been laid low with flu. Take care of yourself, as a neglected flu can turn nasty.

A page 6 BUMP...for the benefit of all new folks to the board. Please read & don`t have nightmares :D:D:D
Notice to newcomers re trolls.
Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P

A morning bump from me. :hello: :hello: :hello:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
