Already been posted, but they're nice. Thanks for posting for reminder!
  • A little advertisement, try and buy your honey from a local beekeeper. The difference in flavour is amazing. A local beekeeper will have extracted it with a centrifugal extractor, your supermarket honey is a blend of honeys from something like 12 different countries, its flash heated and filtered under pressure through a mesh so fine the resulting honey is little more than a sugar syrup.

Also one of the biggest producers of commercial honey is China, they use a lot of antibiotics to control foul brood. Their honey is often contaminated with the residue of antibiotics, a few years ago it was so bad the entire Chinese honey crop was banned from the UK.

The honey from your local beekeeper is as natural as it can be.
  • Received my honey and maple syrup recipe books - only took about a week to arrive. Thanks OP! Nice freebies, the honey one especially. It has a wipe-clean cover and is divided into lots of different sections - breakfast, smoothies, snacks, lunch, supper, desserts, baking, barbecue (plus all the obligatory advertising stuff!).
