WHSmith 14 day DVD trial + £5 voucher

If, like me you have joined most of the DVD companies for their free trials, here is a new one.
WH Smiths have started an online dvd rental service with a 14 day no obligation free trial, plus, just for signing up for the trial you will receive a £5 voucher redeemable against your next DVD purchase in store.

Just go to https://www.whsmith.co.uk and click on the dvd rental icon on the home page - all the details are here, I dont think you need a code for the £5 voucher, it just gets sent automatically during your trial period.

Thanks for this. Just had a quick glance through the terms and conditions and will probably sign up tomorrow.

The website states: 'The free £5 DVD Voucher is only available when you sign up to a free trial and have registered at least 5 DVD titles with the £13.99 package. So long as you do not cancel your free trial within the first 7 days you should receive your free £5 DVD Voucher by post. '

The site is powered by Lovefilm, so I'm not sure if you take out the trial if you have already taken the Lovefilm free trial. Anybody know the answer?

I wondered that too but there's no mention in the terms and conditions. Haven't signed up yet but I will definitely give it a try.

i tried to register and it said that i had already been a lovefilm member and i will be charge normally if i carried on because they only allow one trail per member.

Whoops. Just cancelled mine on the 7th day. Got fed up with the slow posting (have only received 3 disks so far) and did not want to risk overrunning the free trial.

Looks like I have just thrown away my £5 voucher!!
