Does anyone have Butlins Codes

Also does anyone know when using the Tesco Butlins deals vouchers how they work, do you have to pay full price or can you book on a special deal and use them.

Advice much appreciated

Re the Deals vouchers - no, they'll only take them against the full brochure price unfortunately. So, fine if you want to go School Holiday time when they give very little discount otherwise, or have no other use for your 4x Deals vouchers AND can pay in full with the vouchers.
  • My son has just booked and paid in full with Tesco vouchers. The full price he had to pay was £221, the discounted price was just under £200. So, even though he had to pay £21 more to be able to use the Tesco vouchers (his and mine), it was well worth it.

On the other hand, I've booked a discounted holiday for next year for £160. It was £320 full price, so wasn't worth paying all that much extra just to pay with vouchers.

P.S. I've only just rediscovered Butlins and thought it wonderful for a couple of tiny ones and their grandparents. We were well tucked into our apartment by 7pm so I don't know what the evenings were like - perhaps they were better avoided ...... but the days were great in the pool and on the funfair. And the staff were all absolutely wonderful - really nice and helpful, not just pretending to care!

Good to hear that Butlins is still good - went there quite a bit as children with our parents and am going for the first time with my kids in the half-term break in a few weeks time. I used Deal vouchers too. Similarly, we probably won't be going to the "cabaret" evenings or whatever, but the swimming pool and the fair rides will be a great bonus! I'm really looking forward to it :D
  • ............. but the Tot's disco at 6 pm was great fun!

if you can afford it and have little ones, make sure you book bobs tea party. When we went a few years back we went to noddys tea party and my little one had a great time and the gift bag they gave him was really good value when you looked at the prices in the shop. they also have party games and a show. He still has the "party invite" he was given when we arrived.
  • I can't say it wasn't good value (because I never booked it), but I think that £25 was a bit steep for an hour or so's entertainment for a 3-year-old. After all, the main thing that Butlin's used to have going for it was that everything was included. That's not completely the case now, but many extras are not so unreasonably expensive as the Bob the Builder Tea Party.

Perhaps I'm just turning into an MSE Scrooge?

My post did say "if you can afford it" and you should note that it wasnt just a hour or so's entertainment it was the entertainment and a goody bag which comprised a character swimming bag, a noddy stamper and art set, two plush toys plus other small items. The fact that my son still talks about it now, and loves to look at the photo of him with noddy and tessie bear, proves it was a very special memory for him and that is why i recommended it to the original poster.

I am not sure whether this still applies but if you phone the resort yourself (rather than the booking line) then they will book you in at a discounted rate as they will treat you the same as holidaymakers who re-book their holiday whilst on holiday. I think it was either 20 or 25% discount. I took advantage of this a couple of years ago but again I am not sure whether resorts still do this.
  • Thank you I will give it a try.
