I’d go for an MSE minimalist statement and get him a single red rose.

Trust me, what ever you get will be much appreciated as I suspect where us men & flowers are concerned it really is the thought that counts

Get him a bottle of his favourite tipple, nice bottle of Malt or whatever, would be much more appreciated. IMHO
    Cheers

???? Why flowers specifically, has he made mention that he likes them? Would a plant be okay? A Yukka (sp?) perhaps, otherwise, I'm also thinking single flower ....
  • Well, I'm very poorly at the moment and he's been caring for me along with going to work ect.. I wanted to get him flowers because the first present I bought him when we met was a bunch of sunflowers which were delivered. I think he really appreciated the alternative thought.

Ahhhh, hope you feeling better now!!

What about a single sunflower ... or being MSE, a packet of sunflower seeds, a picnic and a trowel, and you could plant them together in your garden??

If you know his favourite flower(s) then buy those.

My hubby likes carnations and would be very happy with those.
