In an effort to cut down my huge shopping bills I want to have a main shopping list which I just mark down the things I need and stick to it! I'm sure I saw a link to a templated shopping list on here before - but have searched and found lots of other tips but not the link!
Can someone point me in the right direction? I am looking for something that lists all your fruits & veg, dairy, meats, fish, utility stuff and bathroom cleaners etc. Many thanks :j

Every now and again I think this would be a good idea but it never lasts. Couple of ideas:
1) Printable forms here: http://organizedhome.com/image/tid/93
2) Go on a supermarket site such as https://www.tesco.com, do a pretend shop and print the list.
3) This site allows you to plan meals and then generates a shopping list. You can also add miscellaneous items like cleaning stuff and storecupboard items.

When I was first learning to use Excel I made a list of everything I used in supermarket order. I used this for about 2 yrs.
I printed the full list and then checked cupboards, freezer and fridge and marked up what I needed. I then selected the items from the master list and printed that out. At first I put in prices so that I could use the formulae but that soon died.
I wonder if I have the patience to do this again, it may help me to use up what is in the cupboards more quickly!0 -
I have been wanting to cut down my bills too, tried to do my own list on Word but that was a dismal failure...computers aren't my thing.
A friend told me to go to www.howisavedthousands.com as they do a free excel spreadsheet which I found a lot easier to use because it all fitted on 1 piece of paper.
Hope this helps0 -
