I can highly recommend www.sewandso.co.uk, just do a search on birth and you'll get 390 results!
Sew and So has been operating for years, and are very reliable.
Let us know if you choose one! xGone ... or have I?0 -

i did actually look on that website last night ! (how creepy) but to be honest because ive never used it before i was a bit weary of handing over any cash to them
but if they've been going for years i doubt they'll start ripping people off now so will go ahead and order the ones i saw last night !
(a hand reaching up for a bear and a cute lil birth announcement - gotta get 2 in case i screw the first one up lol)
Thank you :T0 -
No problem, I'm sure you'll be fine with them, delivery tends to be v quick as well. I ordered something two days before my holiday, emailed them to say 'any chance of a quick delivery' and my item was with me the next day!
On a side note, if you are ever planning to do any cross stitch whilst waiting for a flight, just be aware of the time. I nearly missed my flight back from the US because I was just so absorbed in what I was doing! xGone ... or have I?0 -
If you are a beginner consider getting a chart that uses only whole and half stitches. Some use 3/4 and even 1/8ths, they are not hard, but require a little practise.
Also if you mess up the kit, you will have a list of thread colours and you can buy extra thread from Hobbycraft type places. If you really mess up you can replace the Aida (base fabric) also at most hobby shops.
Good luck.0 -
