Problem with Next-returning goods

Hi!
I have recently started shopping with Next online.
A few weeks ago i ordered a few items and had to return some because they didn't fit.
They were picked up by next courier.
I received my statement yesterday and 2 of the returned items didn't show up as being returned.
I have given Next a ring and they are sending me a form to fill out.
I have the delivery note which the courier put a sticky label on when she picked up the items.
Has this happened to any of you and what was the outcome?

    Hi,

    I have returned goods to Next Online previously both via courier and post office and have absoltuely no problem with either. Courier very friendly and helpful.

    we tend to do them via the store nowadays and it's all updated and done as returned there and then

    Yes, probably best to do via the store , however if the link between the store and Next Directory/Online is down (it happens) it's not the fault of the sales assistant, they simply can't process a refund in a normal way and will probably mean a return trip or you returning the good via the means you bought them . Sorry, ends rant. (slightly off topic view)
  • Not much help I'm afraid. I've used Next directory ordering over the phone a lot at it is so convenient. Often order more than one size of something if unsure of fit and only pay one delivery charge. I find the courier system excellent.

    However I either take them back to a store or use the post office to return goods, both of which are great. It does take a while to show on a statement, esp if the goods are returned as a statement is being issued. You shouldn't have any problem as I am guessing they have a good reputation.

    The reason i dont think this will be straight forward is that i returned 7 items in 3 different bags which the courier has stamped.
    How come 5 of the items have come up as returns and 2 havent.
    The 2 items were sent back in different bags so i haven't a clue how this happened.
    Fingers crossed it is sorted easily or i wont be shopping with Next online again.
