Problems with CCCS

I have been in a DMP with CCCS for around 18 months now. I was contacted by them 2 months ago saying i need to increase my payments. I told them that I was earning no more and agreed to cancel my sky subscription to free up an extra £20 a month. I was told that this wasn't enough and was forced to reduce my food bill, which also includes toiletries, clothing and cleaning materials by £20.
I have contacted them after 2 payments to say that I am struggling with this due to increased cost of living and petrol, to be told i need to budget better.
They do not seem to be prepared to help and say that I should be able to budget or cannot go on with a DMP. They have forced my monthly payments from £130 - £170 a month on £41k.
I don't know what to do now as I can't afford to live. My plan includes only household bills and gives me nothing for a life.
Has anyone else had this sort of problem with the CCCS?
I don't know what to do next as I feel my only option is bankruptcy and losing my house.
Thanks

Sorry to hear you've been having problems.
Not something i've come across in the posts i've seen.
Can you post up a SOA and we'll see if there is anywhere we can make some savings? Hopefully others will be able to comment on what is happening with CCCS.

Is 41K a typo because in all honesty I pay CCCS £574 a month on a lot less salary than that. perhaps you should port your SOA because I'm sure there will be some big savings to be made. CCCS are usually brill and I certainly have enough to live on even though I cant spash out.0

I think the £41k is the total debt, rather than the salary HHH

I think posting an SOA is a good idea because I've never heard of this happening before either...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

Nor me Bunny.
If anything CCCS have always been cautious with our budget, saying we need to be able to live a little and not leave ourselves too short ....Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I had the same problem when I contacted them, they wouldn't allow me an entertainment budget and said I needed to budget better, more importantly they weren't allowing me anything for me care needs as I'm disabled. It's the main reason I didn't go with them. I've heard on here about people being allowed a night out a week, I couldn't believe it because it doesn't agree with what I had with them.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

 Blimey. That doesn't sound like the CCCS debt charity I know and love - but perhaps I'm missing something?

When we talked to CCCS the budget they recommended for us was quite a bit more generous than the one we actually live on now.
If you post up an SOA we'll all help in any way we can honey.

PS It's not the feepaying DMP Company who also have initials a bit like CCCS is it?
I understand that a lot of the fee paying DMP companies have been putting the squeeze on people lately. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0
