Nicator computers???

Hello,
My friend is a nurse and she has been offered a scheme by Nicator Computer systems.
Lots of people seems to be snapping them up as the scheme appears to be for three years at a monthly/weekely rate! However, i suspect that after three years you dont OWN the computer, you have just been RENTING it!
I suspect this, as in the FAQ sections it says that after the three years you either return the goods or buy them at their retail value.
I think this scheme is also being offered to Council workers.
Can anyone shed any light on whether it is a good/bad deal?
