Favourite Reduced Items?

Options
I figured that if we had a 'favourite value items' we might as well also have a 'favourite things that should have cost a fair bit but were reduced right down' thread.

My personal favourites:

Tesco Finest Teacakes - these should have been 99p but were reduced to 25p for 4. And they were GORGEOUS. Despite the best before date I toasted one a day for breakfast that week and they were as good on the last day as the first. Just toasting them filled by kitchen with the smell of yummy orange and lemon peel and they were crammed full of mixed fruit.

Actually, I'd happily buy these at full price as a treat, but despite shelf-searching have never seen them again.

Tesco Finest Belgian Chocolate Dip - these might be in all stores as reduced now, because I think they're being discontinued. Reduced to 80p isn't VERY cheap, but I bought a jar as a treat and it was nice enough that I went back for another. My new favourite snack is freshly chopped apples with this, and I'm thinking strawberries will also be very good.

Spinach - it's getting so I head out every Sunday just in the HOPE they've reduced spinach again. 99p bag is usually down to 22p and you get TONS.

I like the sainsburys bakery cookies, white chololate and strawberry, etc.. I only ever buy them when reduced, as they never last long enough to worry about the BB date! Thankfully, (or not, depending on diet status) I find them reduced fairly frequently!

Went to a well know DIY store and picked up the last 7 packs of wood flooring reduced to £3.00 each, got to the till should have cost over £25.00 each
spent £21 save over £150. and the good thing is they still stock it in other stores so if I am short can buy some more (full price:eek: )

I wonder if any flooring store do beat the price:rotfl: :rotfl:

I still remember walking into the local Safeway store about ten years ago, on a Christmas eve morning, and they'd had a double delivery of stock for some reason. As they were due to be closed for two days, everything with a short date on it was marked at 10p. Fruit & veg, meat, dairy, the lot... We stocked up the freezer nicely. Christmas turkeys for 10p...!
