Im soooo annoyed!

Logged in fine, had almost finished placing my order when it kicked me out! Started again, got half way through & went to check my basket. Noticed everything was at full price, then it redirected me to log in again where it told me to basically start again

So I call their VIP line where I'm redirected to some idiot in India to take my sale order. After she's taken the 1st couple of items I realise that its full price so I mention it to her & she says if its in the sale I will be charged sale price. So we get to the end of a massive list after 25 mins of calling an 0844 number from my mobile & she reads me atotal of about £1000  So I mention again about the sale price. She then transfers me to customer service where she tells me she cant take orders. At this point Im fuming, so she offers to call me back and then transfers me to a nice man who then takes my order at sale price. I'm exhausted now & never ordering from the sale again!!

    hi

i placed about 4 orders in the end (just to make sure i got some of the things i wanted) as long as i went in my time slot it was fine for me to log into account go into vip sale place order checkout go back in again, my last order was the bits i was not so concerned about so i shopped longer and kept checking checkout to see if everything was still instock.

    hope this makes sense

During my whole drama I noticed that a few things which weren't in stock online were online on the phone

i got in at 5pm, after half an hour i had managed to add loads to my basket but was still adding things and then got an error message. that was that then, couldn't add anything else, couldn't view basket etc. had to phone customer services. got told to delete cookies. i deleted cookies and everything got deleted from my basket too and i got logged out and couldn't log back in so could no longer place order online. i ended up being on the phone to next for an hour, spoke to about 5 different people, had to go through everything again and place my order by phone.

its now 6.45, so has taken me 1 hr 45 mins to place a £500 order. also loads was out of stock inbetween me adding to basket and placing order on the phone.

i don't know exactly what was out of stock, just know that i ordered a lot less on the phone that what i had already added to my basket, and i wasn't even finished when i got the error messages.

i wish i had made a list of everything and then i could have just got straight on the phone to make an order when it all started to go pear-shaped, but i've never had problems before and have always just gone through the sale and ordered that way rather than making a list beforehand.

i just hope everything i ordered on the phone has gone through at sale price, i have no record of what i ordered, just got told the total so have no way to check until it arrives.
  • I got in at 4.55pm ish. Put loads into my basket, by this time it was 5.20pm and the site decided to crash, arrgghhh. Couldn't get the site to work so rang Next, they put me through to a lovely guy who took my rather long order over the phone. He said because it was so long he had to do it as two orders because it went over the amount the screen would allow but that he would give me free delivery, yay.

Most things I had wanted were in stock so I am really pleased and was off the phone by about 5.55pm. He said he would send through email confirmation (haven't had this through yet but I'm not worried because I have since managed to log onto the website and on my account summary page it shows that my available credit has decreased by the amount of the order that I placed so it must be going through).

ThinkI need a lie down now, all the stress of the site crashing and going through my big list have worm me out :-)
