Hi, please can anyone tell me when the Next directory sale starts? Also I have been reading previous posts and was wondering if anyone can tell me about a sale code that you can use before the sale actually starts?

the sales next saturday (19th). the code works a day or so before the sale -when the vip slots are allocated. however the last sale, next had tightened up so you couldnt just order unless u had vip slot, hth

Didn't the OP ask WHEN the VIP slots were allocated i.e. when the invites are sent out and/or when the little register screen comes up (that lets you log in to get a vip slot if you are going to be sent an email invite but it just hasn't come through yet). From memory, these were up to 7 days before the actual VIP slots start (which are usually two days before the main sale, so around the 16-17th of July)....by this reckoning, we should be seeing somethign soon in the next couple of days.

Qus re these vip slots which I've never heard of til now - do you get to look at the sale stock and order online or do you go into the store and get to try the stuff on?

I called Next today to see when they would email out the VIP slots, but the lady at Next wasn't sure when they would be or even if there were going to be any VIP slots this year - lets hope so!:j

Hi all,

I'm so gutted! I'm going on holiday on 18th July and will miss the sale! Every year I stock up for work and kids in the Next sale!

Someone who worked in Next once told me that people used to go buy clothes before the sale and then return them after the sale and buy them back again a the cheaper price. Has anyone ever tried this & if you happen to work for Next could you let me know if you can do this? I really don't want to miss out on the bargains!

I had a VIP slot last year but the website was sooooo slow and loads of stuff wasnt available.

I thought we had the sale list about a week before last year?
