I thought the argos ones looked reasonable. I liked this one but decided against it in the end (in favour of bunkbeds.)

How old is your daughter? Mine is 5 and we have the same problem. I chose to give her a mid sleeper where she can play underneath it (there's not enough room for her to play otherwise), and made it special by buying a country cottage curtain. In fact she has seating, all of her toys in those coloured plastic gardening tubs, and a portable DVD player under it. She loves it and so do her older brothers. For her clothes storage I went for 3 chest of drawers, by not having high wardrobes the room looks bigger.

Look in your local paper / free ads paper. We got a Flexa mid sleeper, with the chest of drawers, bookcase and desk for £85. Really good quality. We had to collect it. But they do dismantle so will fit in a car with the seats down.

I was going to suggest free ads too. Last year we were after the high sleepers for our 10 year old twins and found some like new with a desk underneath for £25 each. Bargain.
