    Hello ladydriva

Have you thought about using a dry shampoo? Batiste Dry Shampoo 150ml (Spray can) is £1.99 in Boots......it might be cheaper elsewhere.;)

You can use a little at a time by spraying directly onto the greasy patch and then brush it out. This will save you time (not having to wash and dry your hair) and money.

An even cheaper method is to sprinkle some cheap talcum powder onto the greasy area and then brush out. However, this method won't give you the accuracy that the spray can will give.........and you'll end up with talc all over the place.

    I hope that helps.

  • Ive been the same since I had my daughter. Ive found vosene to be fantastic and you can get the conditioner to. There about £1.99p a bottle but you can always find them bogof if you look around.

I dont know whether this will make a difference to you but I have longish hair and if I sleep with it up I will always wake with greasy hair, especially sides and back of head area. It is always at the roots too. If I sleep with it down I can usually get away without washing it every day.

You could try tea tree oil shampoo from Holland & Barrett, it's really effective. Dry shampoo is ok for emergencies but I find my head still feels dirty....

Does tea tree oil shampoo stop you having to wash it every day?

I hate having to wash mine everyday but I feel dirty and greasified (is that a word?) if I don't.
