When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today i will:

I feel exhausted just looking at your list Andan :rotfl:
Mine will look most puny in comparison
Today I have- spent my "free" tenner on lots of fruit and the sunday times this morning (I do have a bit of change but it was nice to not feel guilty)
- read the sunday times cutting back articles - they mention quidco 3 times and martin at least twice! We are trailblazers

- not spend anything else today
- finish the epic sort out - we have an eBay pile!
- wash bedding and line dry
- have storecupboard lunch and dinner (including the first leaves from my spinach plants, woooo
ended up costing me less than 20 pounds for 2 - would have been 35-40 the old way!! And just a bit more effort :T
Off to scoff my strawbs now
Bye!0 -

Well, i have been ill for a few days so unfortunately i need to catch up with things that i didn't get done due to the migraine, i won't get all of it done but i'll have fun trying!
Have also done some shopping at the supermarket i have just audited, took advantage of lots of half price goodies, so that was some savings for today.
If i didn't have to catch up so much today would be a day of rest:rotfl:
I think everyone has lots to keep them busy for today anyway, so well done everyone.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi everyone
Today I will stay in and have a NSD, make lunch from the freezer and storecupboard. Roast chicken and veges.
This week I managed to sell £54 worth of items on ebay. Also did my clicks today and am looking for a new flat. Have decided that my neighbours have made my life so unbearable that I have to find somewhere else to live.
I've been living here for 5 yrs, them for 8 months but have made life unbearable. (House conversion, walls paper thin) and their landlady not interested even though all 5 other occupants have written letters of complaint, and council not interested either even after same 5 letters of complaints, one even from the house next door lol.
I've not had a rent increase in 5 yrs so will struggle to get a new flat and keep up with higher payments, but hey will just have to tighten the belt more.
It also means that my debts will take longer to pay off, but need proper sleep and peace. Sorry bout the essay lol.
I'm also preparing for my NY trip for my 40th next week, am flying out on Thursday, birthday on Friday. So need to go and get my travel insurance sorted tomorrow and post some more ebay items.
Have a great day everyone.
Cheers
Casper
