20% Day M&S- 11th November

just thought I'd post that there is a 20% day at m&s on wines and spirits, clothing, and christmas stuff.
some christmas stuff are already discounted at the moment eg. biscuit tins and boxes, and soft toys are 3 for 2.
Could be quite a money saving day!!

  • 20% off would take their prices a bit closer to reasonable, but perhaps not close enough. Do many money savers from this site actually squander their money at M&S, potentially wiping out savings from other deals?

Food must be the worst. I feel sorry for wage earning husbands when I see the wives filling their baskets up high. Earn a lot, waste a lot.

  • Peechy, thank you for your post. I was only looking in there the other day at sparkly christmas tops, so this may just come in handy.

M&S has its place in the market George. :P

  • A lot of the food is around the same price as ordinary brands in the supermarket :)

Admittedly I don't often shop there, but that's more to do with the lack of parking in our town centre than anything else ::)

Cheers peechy - saw the ad on tv last night. Flippin eck, anyone would think you'd said Harvey Nichols from reply #1!!  Cheeky comment about wives frittering husbands earnings - errrr, we do earn our own money from time to time you know.  >:(

Anyone know if the website are going to have this 20% discount?  There are a few things with 20% off, but these have been on there for a while.

Bummer as I was in my local-ish store yesterday admiring the xmas gifty bits - some nice stuff.  Not going to get a chance to go today.

Just saw the tv ad again and it says from 8am to 9pm and shows the website address, so guess the offers will be on there in the morning...
