Argos have this on offer (664/5940) at 50% 0ff (£290 instead of £580) but I can't find anyone else who sells this mattress to check if it really is half price - can't find it in the current catalogue but it is online. Can anyone care to comment on whether this is a bargain or not?

Also the cat no you quoted is showing a 6' superkingsize at 231.99 not 290.00

Had a look around and looks like originaly was the £500 mark
£800 ish for the full bed set with drawers.

IIRC 6' is Super King, 5' is King (/or Queen), 4'6" is Double

Used to do deliveries for Bensons Beds when at college

Does anyone know if this is a good offer? We are in need of a new bed, don't know whether to wait and see if anything better comes up on offer, or go for this.

i had to do some enquiries about this for a customer today.

the item is a non-catalogue (ie promotional line), so you will not find it in the catalogue in the same form as advertised in the posters/media etc.

the only info i can give is that the mattress is, in terms of quality, most similar to item 12 on p372 (663/5998 is the code for kingsize), and includes a memory foam mattress topper, item 22, p373 (069/0403)

and although the till wasnt giving exact dates, delivery should be within 14 days.

Thanks very much pavlovs_dog, that's been a great help. Think I might order the double or the kingsize divan then (6643650 or 6643674), as we need a completely new bed and mattress. If it does have memory foam, even better for my bad back!

We just bought a mattress and it's 5'11 across, so I'm presuming it's a super king?? We got it from a charity shop (like new!) but it was marked up as a king.....

It appears very similar to the mattress i recently bought. It's from the Silentnight Miracoil Latex range and it is top quality with some retailers selling at nearly £600.
