Hi all,
I haven't posted on here for ages, I have had a really tough 5 months while my business was struggling so have spent all my savings and haven't made any more payments to my debt.
Business wise things are better for now but I need to get back in control of my finances so I don't end up getting into more debt.
I've got a job interview on wed, I think business will probably drop again soon and can't carry on with its up and downs so I've decided to try and get a regular income.
Just wanted to post to get some motivation really, I would really like to have my Mum paid back in 12 months so need to get after it but all my money seems to go on day to day living at the min.

Thanks for that runnybabbit ( love the user name btw)
The job is for a driving examiner, I'm a self employed instructor now so kind of a natural progression. I've already passed a theory test and a advanced driving test so this is the final stage. I'm dead nervous cos it means so much to me to get this job.

No car or petrol. I have my car for work and the costs come out of my business but due to mileage limits on the lease it is used only for business.
I'm very lucky cos my DH lets me use his car should i ever need it which tbh doesn't happen much, i don't live far from shops etc.Life isn't a dress rehersal

My house insurance renewal came yesterday, £386 this year which is almost doubled! Been on the net all morning and managed to get a quote for £175 and £25 cashback through quidco so thats a relief. Gonna check I'm on the best deal for gas and electric next.Life isn't a dress rehersal
