Generally you have to have a shopper rating of above 8 so if you haven't completed a job yet you can still apply for it, and it may be assigned to you. Once you have done 1 job you will be able to self-assign these jobs.
Keep applying and you will get one! It took me ages to get my first one, then since then I have had a few in a short space of time
Many thanks SarahI ended up emailing my area manager too and he was really helpful. I've now applied for a job he mentioned they were allocating tomorrow so fingers crossed I get that one and can them self-assign. It isn't my first choice of job but best to get at least 1 shop under my belt with them
On another subject, I did my first successful call with OC and used my iPhone which worked a treat. It comes with headphones that have a microphone built in so made the call really easy. I found it takes a few goes before anyone answered. Kinda like lucky dip really!
I'm quite envious of the people that have lots of jobs/call to do but living in a seaside town there's a limit of jobs I can do within a reasonable area. But I'm happy just be earning some money here and there and can't wait till I get my first MS pay :j16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/120 -
i am quite new to MS but am gradually getting the hang of it and signing up to a few more companies. This week I have ten MS which I don't think is too bad for Cornwall and that I work full time anyway.
by the way...what is FFNew to Mystery Shopping and looking to improve my income somehow...in sunny Cornwall0 -

Well, just done my 1st posh supermarket MS for OC, but it's a bit strange that they don't ask for any descriptions of staff and none of them wear name badges, well, not in the store I went to and the name isn't on the receipt either.
Then when I came to complete the scorecard it asks for the staff member's name that I was meant to contrive to get, but which one, when I asked 3 for help and then there was a 4th on the checkout?
Hope it doesn't scupper my payment - how do you contrive to get someone's name when you're asking if they sell gift vouchers or what's the best wine to go with my meal???
Anyone done any of these?0 -

Paul, would you let us know how it goes please as it's something that i am dying to do (but I dont have enough points with Bare yet )
- do any other companies do flights? Good luck!0 -
That's fantastic Hollypear, have a great time! have you done any flights before?
Yes I did one Glasgow to Bristol and back. It was a bit cold as it was in winter and not really enough time to do a tour of Bristol sadly. But between my ipod and a book the 4 hour stopover went quickly.
And I have credit card sign ups with a great fee at Glasgow landside airside and when I get to Belfast City so all in all a good day.
If your interested in doing one PM me and I'll let you know the company.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Josie as you know I now work part time in Asda. It is a crime punishable by death not to wear your name badge. We all have them pinned on to those dangly things round our necks. I like it as I now find I have regular customers who are getting to know me and this way they call me by name.
It is astonishing the things I pick up from customers like the lady yesterday who is a trolley dolly. Did you know when a plane has a possible crash landing and they might have to evacuate via the shute the passengers have to discard all sorts of things...like their false teeth.
Now Josie bet you didn't know that.:rotfl:Clique member no 1.:D0
