Just ordered all the Harry Potter DVDs (5 currently available) for £4.49 each with the last release at £5.49. These are single DVDs not a box set. Hope this helps someone.
We purchased an upscaling Toshiba HD DVD for under £50 following a link from MSE and the quality of the HD DVDs in comparison to standard DVDs is fantastic even despite the fact that we only have the BEKO 32 inch flat screen HD TV that we got for £180 from Argos again via a link from MSE. The telly should have been a little more but at the posters suggestion I bought two £100 lots of vouchers therefore getting an extra £20 off the TV. When I arrived at my local Argos to pick up the TV they said the price had gone up but because I had taken the actual printout of the reservation with me they honoured the deal. So a big Thank you to the board and the posters in particular. You have made one money saving family very happy bunnies. My friends with their very expensive flat screens and DVD players can't believe how fantastic my budget set up really is!
Thanks again

These prices are online only as they come from Jersey, tend to be wholesale/ clearance prices and no tax. Note HD is now a discontinued format, hence the low prices, 3 for £10 is expected soon.Got a lot on offer from £3.99. Does anyone know if they are the same price in store?
There lots of offers around at The Hut,(+Asda, LoveFilm etc), DVD/Base, Uwish and Amazon etc as well as HMV,
HMV has been the driving force having had around 60 on offer for weeks. Started at £4.99, now £3.99 and £4.49.
The absolute bargains were Heroes complete series 1 for £12.99 and Hotel Babylon series 1 for £3.99.
PS Amazon had a BOGOF weekend last week and Batman Begins was available for £2.49. If you ordered 4 dvds at £4.99 you got all 4 for £9.98 post free as they took the bogof discount off at confirmation of order. Thus qualifying for free del.
N.B.YOU NEED A HD DVD TO PLAY THESE, unless they are marked combo.
PLUS DO NOT FORGET QUIDCO, it pays 10%.ac's lovechild0
