M and S spend and save

I just noticed that we had with our free paper some save 5 pounds when you spend 25 pounds on Food and drink for a store about 10 miles away. Do anyone think I will be able to use them at Mr T's like the mozzers one. bar code is an M /S specific M 0625197 S.

It's just possible I think, but IMHO very unlikely your store will accept these.

I asked in a store where there is an M&S quite nearby, a few months ago when some of these were out. The Tesco store said no, sorry, they don't have the same barcode system and M&S are not 'a major Supermarket' which is the definition of the Spend & Save vouchers Tesco do accept.

However, someone on MSE did report they were allowed to use one at their local Tesco, who were prepared to enter the amount manually as a non-scan coupon.

So, I would ask, you have nothing to lose. But you will probably be told no for those ones. The conditional spend Morrisons ones, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Asda etc are all fine at Mr T because they are issued by 'major Supermarkets'.
