... taking someone home from hospital.

    I was wrong...

I don't own the newest nor flashiest of cars, but it has one over-riding good point - it is reliable.

So ... on the way to the hospital (30 miles away), what happens, it stalls, overheating, push to the side of the road, text ahead - I'll be late.

Get it going again, get to the hospital, then have to find a wheelchair, hospital is a rabbit warren, find out that there are two lifts, one goes to some floors, the other lift goes to every other floor - finally get wheelchair, having been on every floor, and nearly every ward in the hospital (some more than once, lol), finally get back to the car - and just pray it starts, in fact pray for every inch (and I mean every inch) of the journey back, particularly at traffic lights, roundabouts, and junctions as I rev the engine to keep it going, while watching the temperature gauge climb.

What was the best thing to happen to me today - making it back safely without breaking down again - or maybe - I should spend some time consideringthis - it was having every prayer answered.

Tough as life often is - I hope YOU have your prayers answered - the important ones.

Today my ex landlady rang me and told me that she is going to send a cheque to me and OH for £105 because we recommended a friend to them!

We've always raved about our ex rented flat and now we have been paid for it-I have to say they are a very good company.
Thing is we didnt even know that they had this scheme going, so its a really pleasant surprise.
