Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act and DROs

Are people aware of the new Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act of 2007? It should have come into law but loose ends are being tightened up.
Elements of this Act look set to give debt management companies new and wide ranging powers over creditors regarding those 70,000 people who owe very large sums of money.
It is the intention of the Ministry of Justice that through this Act debtors will have to be able to pay their debts in a reasonable time frame and licensed debt management companies will have the power to force creditors to accept the plans.
There are also DROs (Debt Relief Orders) coming into affect from April 2009 for those owing less than £15,000 enabling them to wipe out their debt without the need to go to court.
