i didn't realise it at the time, i'm a dozy mare and it was teatime but my coupon actually ADDED a pound to my bill in asda today instead of deducting it - has anyone else had this happen? it was for something i didn't buy but asda do accept coupons for things you don't buy, for 10% of the bill. the bill was just under a tenner and the coupon was for a pound, i ended up paying just under £11.

Coupons are supposed to scan properly, occasionally this happens though, which is why I always watch whats happening on the display. Just take your reciept to CS next time you're in and explain, and they'll refund it for you.July Grocery Challenge Budget £160

This happened to me on Saturday in Asda. I gave in 3 vouchers for 30p off cereal, rice crispies i think and it added on £1.68 each time. I went to customer services and was refunded the money. They said it was because the barcode on the coupon was the same as the cereal they sell. The vouchers were out of the pre-school cheque book given out last week so if anyone had them check your receipt if used in Asda.0

That happened to my other half too but in Tesco's. She didn't notice until she got home.
Do you think Tesco will refund us the money if we go in there tomorrow and explain?0 -
Im sure if you still have the reciept then they should refund the money. If you don't still have the receipt then the chances are slim.A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and who asks for it back when it start to rain.0
