debt snowballer

I've heard a lot of people on here talk about debt snowballers and how they make sure you get the most bang for your repayment bucks and how this keeps you :j . So I googled it and gave it a go.
On the one hand I'm  that at the rate I'm going I won't be debt free until Sept 12 (and that's assuming I manage not to incurr any new debt during that time). But on the other hand, I'm not sure the figures are right.
I've got a loan that's due to finish next March, but the snowballer says I won't pay it off until May. I've put in all the details that it asks for and the only thing I can think off is maybe payment date assumptions are throwing it out.
Anyway, I thought I'd start a thread and see if anyone could recommend a good snowballer site and if they had any pearls of wisdom on how to get the best out of them / snowballing in general.
(The site I used was http://www.whatsthecost.com/snowball.aspx)
