I wanna eat out in Manchester (with children)

I'm taking my 3 year old to see The Wiggles in Manchester on Thursday (26th) and I'm wondering if anyone from the area can recommend good places to eat out with small children in the city centre? I don't really want to have to rely on McDonalds and the like unless we have to! Thanks.

Hi there are 2 slug and lettuce pubs in Manchester .one quite close to where your going its on Deans gate . you could down load the voucher from their website for 5.00 off a meal. There is also a pizza hut just up the road from the arena under the marks and spender bridge. There is also a food court on market street that has loads of fast food places in there . If you ask most people will be able to give you directions and all are within about 10 minutes from where you are going.
I know you don't want to go to Macdonald's but in worst case if the kids are tired and you don't want to go far there is a Macdonald's in the train station next to the arena you can get to it from inside the area hope this helps
if you need any more idea p.m me and i will see what I can do

go to the printworks you have got a host of restraunts in there.
my favorite for the kids is hard rock cafe will cost you under £20 for the two of you and although its majority burgers they treat the kids really well and there better quality than macdonalds. they have a decent childrens menu aswell. and you dont have to book(30mins longest i have waited)
ands its 5 min max walk from the arena at the back of victoria station.
also as above you have a host of bars/restraunts along deansagte from pubs to pizza/pasta. there is also a pizza express in st annes squareneed to have a lightbulb moment0 -
