Hello. I have seen a few mentions of wescot credit services. ( this is my 1st posting)

Here is what I know,

1, They opperate in Hull as Wescot Credit Services AND Retuned mail serives
2. They Opperate in Glasgow as Debt enforcment agency,
3. They DO pass calles around them selves

They WILL try and get as much information from you without you knowing, if you call them, block you telephone number or they will get it from their termials.

Anyway they ARE rude and nastly and thats just to work for! trust me I used to work for them. Many clients have no idea who they opperate.

Remember if you have a debt then you are legally obligated to pay it. But they can not colllect a debt over 7 years old or occupier debts

I had a run in with them a while back. Long story, but basically, I moved house and the new occupier (about 2 years later) ordered sky tv. It just so happens that this gentleman also had the same initalls as me. Anywho, this guy did not pay the sky bills and was then passed over to westcot.

I kept telling them it was not me but and sent off the deeds to my new house, passort photo copy (DOB)....etc to inform them they had the wrong bloke. About 6 months later I received a final warning to the amount of £7,000+ (started as a £43 debt) and again, told them it was not me. I again sent off the proof and I have not heard from them since. Looks like they finally got the message that they where pursuing the wrong guy. I still have all the documents and letters in case it comes round again, which I have a feeling it will!
