Aberdeen, Stirling, Perth, Dundee - Discount shops?
We're travelling to Scotland next week and I'm hoping to pick up some bargains because it just doesn't happen here in Sweden. Are there any shopping villages in the area of Dundee/Perth/Aberdeen/Stirling? We're hiring a car so we can travel:) I'd be interested in shops selling clothes, shoes, towels, bedding.
Help me bag a few bargains.

I only know a little about Perth & Stirling. There is the Thistle Centre in Stirling which is very good. There is a Debenhams there and there should be a sale on. In Perth there is also a good shopping area but basically the same shops as Stirling. If you can, try and get to Glasgow because the shopping there is much much better. Have a good trip.0

there are a couple of outlet villages. One is near Stirling and the other one is at Livingston which is just past Edinburgh on the motorway to Glasgow. I think this one is the best and we travel there from Aberdeen to shoptravelover0

Great, I've found links to them if anyone else is interested:

Just outside the main designer outlet mall at McArthur Glen (round the corner) there's a TK Maxx - often good bargains there too. Parking is free in the multi-storey car park or outside. Also ASDA, on site and loads of other shops.0

Dundee has Poundland, TJ Hughes, TK Maxx, Soccer Sports (if still open), Asda and Tesco0

In Aberdeen there is:
Primark for cheap fashionable clothes
Asda Walmart Superstore (sells everything!!!)
Poundland - great for brand name toiletries at a pound.
Have a great trip! The Best Things in Life Are Free0 -
