Dell Outlet

I know ebay items are not supposed to be posted on this board but this is an ebay shop. Dell outlet are offering cosmetically damaged PCs for knock down prices. Damage is catagorised into 3 classes, from light scratch to broken plastic.
Importantly, these PCs still come with manufacturers wannanty. A quick check on the dell website and you can see the difference in price, on high end machines, it can be many hundreds of pounds. Admittedly I have not bought from dell outlet yet, but I plan to soon. I will report feedback when I get it.
I would advise to always check the price against the new cost however, because some people get carried away and will bit far too much for them.
(note, you must factor in the price of buying a monitor for the desktop units as they are sold without monitor)

Often cheaper to go direct to the Dell outlet, they are all like new with no marks, the marked stuff goes to Ebay and often sells for more than the normal outlet
They currently have £55 off and free delivery

They do indeed. Just bought an XPS1330. Same spec on the Dell website = £730 inc VAT & delivery.
I just paid £480.....remember to look out for the 'buy now and save' icon when checking out.0 -
"they are all like new with no marks"
In my experience, this is often not true and I have purchased a lot of outlet computers. Although usually small, some of these systems also have cosmetic damage.0 -
I have bought from Dell Outlet on ebay last year and was well pleased with my purchase. Paid £500 for a computer that would usually sell for £800+. It said there was cosmetic damage but all that is a slight scratch on the cover which is hardly noticeable.
Although paying was a hassle as they only accept Credit Cards and we had problems contacting them which included being on hold for ages and strange phone in hours etc.0 -

You are likely have a similar experience if you ever need to organise a warranty repair or similar  You certainly can get nice machines at good prices, though. A number of other companies also resell dell refurb, discontinued or similar computers - for example, I've used https://www.europc.co.uk before.0
